・時間をコントロールできるか

時間の概念と時間システムは、異なる地域にいる他者とのコミュニケーションの形に影響を与えています。実際の時間の標準化、視覚化、言語化もまた、人と人、国と国との関係を形作って着ました。
このプロジェクトでは、人々が日本標準時、暦、日照時間をどのように変化させたか、そして特に、時間システムが物理的な距離をどのように突破し、人々をどのように結びつけたり、切り離したりしているかについて焦点を当てた彼女のリサーチを発表します。

・𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲?
The concept of time and time systems shape our ways of communicating with others in different time zones daily. The standardization, visualization, and verbalization of actual time also shape our relationships between people and nations.
The project focuses on how people changed Japan Standard Time, calendar, sunlight, and especially how the time system breaks through physical distance to connect/disconnect people themselves.

・アーティスト略歴
シャロン・ン・ワイ・クワン @timecrosssectionは香港のクントンで生まれ育ち、健康的な生活を送っている。彼女は忘れっぽいが、常に現地の時間は頭に入れている。現在は「地理」、「歴史」、「感情」、「学習」に焦点を当てており、フルタイムのアーティストとして活動している。

さらに、香港ジャック・チャオ・マップ」の共同制作者として活躍中。個人の活動には、アートプロジェクト「 #NaturalEarlyDeath #自然早死 ’」、コミュニティアートプロジェクト「  #DreamWanchai #灣仔大夢」などがある。現在、「見㠀‘ @Art_is_Land ‘ 」の共同学習者として、ティーチング・アーティストのトレーニングに参加。

・ 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗶𝗼
Sharon Ng Wai Kwan @timecrosssection
Ng was born and raised in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong, where she leads a healthy life. Her memory fails her sometimes, but she always keeps the local time in mind. She focus on ‘geography’, ‘history’, ‘emotions’, ‘learning’. As a full time artist, she is currently striving to sustain her life through her art.
Ng is an active artist co-worked on ‘Hong Kong Jack Ciao Map’. Her individual included art project ‘ #NaturalEarlyDeath #自然早死 ’, community art project ‘ #DreamWanchai #灣仔大夢 ’. Currently, Ng is also a Co-learner of ‘ @Art_is_Land ‘ co-designing and participating in the training of teaching artists.

・自分はどの動物か

モニター二台を使ったインスタレーション 作品を展示する。1台は参加型のアンケート、もう1台は80年代のコンピューターのような雰囲気を醸し出す、動物園の映像を表示する。「自分はどの動物か」という質問に対して、映像から得られた回答者の答えを収集します。

The installation work will be exhibited using two monitors, one displaying a participatory questionnaire and the other displaying a video of a zoo with an 80’s computer-like atmosphere. The monitors will collect the respondents’ answers obtained from the video to the question, “Which animal am I?”

ルカ・ジョンフィスクショー/Loke　Zhang-Fiskesjoは、進化するメディア・テクノロジーと現実の建築環境との複雑な関係に着目するアーティストです。
彼の作品と研究は、ドキュメンタリーとニューメディアの技術を組み合わせたものであり、場所や風景に対するアーティスト独自のユニークな調査に基づいている。

I am an artist-scholar dedicated to unraveling the intricate relationship
between evolving media technologies and our built environments. My work and
studies have been grounded in combining documentary and new media
techniques to conduct unique investigations into various sites and
landscapes around the world.
