「みせたこともなく、みたこともない」滞在制作成果報告会実施リポート

冬のアーティスト・イン・レジデンスプログラム「みせたこともなく、みたこともない」の滞在制作成果報告会として、作品展示とアーティスト・トークを2月13日（土）から14日（日）にかけて開催した。
14日には招聘アーティストである岡碧幸、真砂雅喜によるトークをそれぞれ実施。40日間のレジデンス滞在を振り返りつつ、プロジェクトの背景や変遷が語られた。久しく実施していなかったオフラインでの集客イベントでありながら、各回とも満員御礼という締め括りとなった。

この作品は「物質的な環境の状態と、パソコンやスマホで見る数字や文字などの情報は、どうつながっているのか？どうすればつながっていると感じられるのか？」という問いから始まりました。ここでは、大気や磁石や金属や人の動きが、お互いにスイッチとなり場を作っていく仕組みを作りました。手触りのあるものとないものに囲まれて選択し続ける日々に、他の人や物や環境への責任と親密感を、どう感覚として持ちうるかを考えます。

Photosensitive Inversion
私はこの機会に個人との密談・密約に基づく「パーソナリー・エンゲイジド・アート」という作品形態を仮定し、挑みました。今回は札幌という都市に暮らす人々に焦点を当て、密談を基に相互にカミングアウトできる関係を探りつつ、個々に内在する社会的弱者性・マイノリティ性についてなどを見つめ直す機会をつくりました。さらに密約の上で協働者がパフォーマンスを実行し、この報告会ではその行為を撮影した写真を途中成果として展示しました。
また、14日（日）には他の滞在アーティスト、千葉麻十佳とHazelのオープンスタジオも併せて実施した。

Sapporo Tenjinyama Art Studio held an exhibition and artist talks on 13th and 14th of February, 2021, as an opportunity of report for our winter artist-in-residence program `Misetakotomonaku Mitakotomonai (translated: Neither yet presented nor witnessed)`.
Miyuki Oka and Masayoshi Masago, two invited artists for the program, had artist talks on February 14th. They threw back their 40 days of residency, diving into the background and the changes in each project. Although it was the first time in a while to hold an off-line event to allow free entrance for the general public, each talk was concluded successfully with the maximum number of audiences capable.

to handle (A)
This piece started out as I questioned: how physical state of environment and on-screen information such as numbers and letters seen on our computers and phones are connected? In what way can we feel they are connected? Here I made a system where each of the air, magnets, metals, and human moves becomes a switch to one another, to create a place. This is the examination of how we could obtain responsibility and familiarity to others and environment, everyday surrounded by the textured and non-textured, as a sense.

Photosensitive Inversion
For this opportunity, I hypothesized a form named “Personally Engaged Art”, which is based on confidential conversations and promises with individuals. Focusing on people living in the city of Sapporo, I explored the relationships with them where the mutual and confidential come-outs are allowed, to reevaluate social vulnerability and minority immanent in us, individually. Furthermore, as collaborators, we conducted a performance and photographed the act. This show exhibits the photographs of the performance as our mid-course result.
