11月3、7、8日と三日間にわたって開催した創作相談会、無事に終了しました。

このところ紅葉が真っ盛りで来館者も多かった天神山、飛び入りの方も交えての会となり、小学一年生から一般の方まで幅広く参加していただけました。出来上がった絵も本当に様々です。

The workshop program “The world in letters” was held on November 3rd, 7th, 8th.  Recently many  people visit Tenjinyama because autumn leaves are very beautiful. A few people joined this open workshop as last-minute entrant. We could  see various style of pieces of participants.

今回の講師の本田さん、これまで対面式のワークショップはほとんど経験がないということで、初日はかなり緊張したとのことですが「参加者の純粋な姿勢を見て、あらためて絵を描くっていいなぁと思えた」とコメントをいただけました。ワークショップ中はおろか休憩時間にももりもりと創作をされている姿が印象的。

The instructor of the workshop Seiji Honda said that he was really nervous at first day because he has not held this kind of event so far. He also  said “While seeing innocent motivation of the participants I could feel again how wonderful painting is.” He was making art works even while break time. It was impressive.

相談会の最後には講評会（小さい子には『みせっこ』）で参加者同士の意見交換も。普段から制作、発表をしている方の参加もあり、期せずしてオープンな場になりました

とくに子どもたちのインタビューで多かったのは、初めは慣れた画材、手法で始めながらも、テクスチュアのついた紙やパステルなど、だんだんと普段使わない画材を試してみて、それが面白かった、印象に残ったというものでした。貴重な意見として、今後の参考になりそうです。

11月30日までは絵手紙の募集期間。ワークショップに参加した方がどんな作品を送ってくれるか楽しみです。

At last they showed their art works and added comment each other. Some of them are normally publishing their art works. This situation was very open than we expected. Some kids said “I could use drawing material which I’ve never used such as pastel, textured paper and  so on.  It was  interesting.”  We will be able to refer this opinion for the future programs.
